You've heard the stories before from your elderly and lovable and sometimes...embarrassing grandparents, great grandparents...ancestors...the works. "Back in MY day...we worked 1 hour for 0.25/hour!"
Now these days things seem so much more different. Back then a Candy bar would be worth no more than 5 cents and higher quality chocolate costs no more than 25 cents! It's fun to think how much we earn now and how much we earned then. Let's take a average person with low rate wages/hour. Now these days (at least in California) it's roughly about $8.25/hour, meaning a full 8 hours would be $66 GASP! Now do that for about 5 days and that would be~ $330 without tax deductions and roughly around (pending where you live) $40~$55 = $275~$290 per week. I mean...show that paycheck to your ancient relatives and they'll have a heart attack :D
Now for a Police Officer who enforces the law, he earns roughly around $4500~$6000/ month. That's about $1285.71~$1714.29/week =F ~drools~
I mean....*heehee* Imagine what you can do with that much money..driving around...handing tickets....NO WONDER THEY'RE SUCH A** HOLES!!! O>e;
Anyways~ I'm such a math nut. Now coming down to this, let's look at the statistics from back then when things were worth like...pennies on a dollar...literally >_>;
Now back during the 1950's wages were about 75 cents on the hour. 8~10 hours of that would be $6~$7.25 per day and $30~$36.25/ week meaning $105~$126.88/ month. Wow...Big difference right? o-o

$1 = .72 Euro
$1 = 84.3700 japanese Yen

$1 = 6.7035 Chinese Yuan
$1 = Priceless in the Future where Money is ancient
Other than in a few places, (pending more on how much pricing is) You would think Japanese Yen would be amazing and Korean Won just...phenomenal...but the pricing there makes your eyes....just cry sometimes xD
